Need Coffee & Kitchen

We're excited to announce, Jack and Natalie have opened Need's first venue, introducing Need Coffee and Kitchen. Having chosen a location near to Need's roastery in East Sussex. We invite customers to slow down, savour the moment and find joy in the simple pleasures of life, whilst tucking into some seriously good coffee and a delicious menu! 

It's an ideal spot 100m from the beach and just around the corner from Seaford train station...we look forward to looking after you!

Our Founders

We're Jack and Natalie. It’s been an interesting few months, starting with Natalie on a night out… meeting with a friend who works in TV to then being cast in the new Channel 4 TV show, with host Sue Perkins called Double the Money.

With extensive experience within the hospitality and events industry, we have served, met over and tasted lots of coffee. Moreover, we find ourselves constantly living in the whirlwind. To combat this, we take solace each day, sharing a cup of coffee and a moment of peace, before cracking on with the day ahead.


We created Need for people who need a coffee that can keep up with their lives, people like us. Workouts in the morning, meetings during the day, and a last-minute dinner with friends; our lives are anything but quiet and we need coffee to match our pace.

Balancing indulgence with energy, we’ve made it simple to fit a quality cup of coffee into your day. Our blends make room for the perfect moment of calm, too, so take a moment to brew, breathe, sip, and smell the coffee. Thank you for supporting our journey!
